Soft tissue mass
24-year-old female with a right axillary mass.
Procedure: Excisional biopsy.
Gross: The specimen consists of a resected, well circumscribed lesion measuring 3 x 2.5 x 2 cm. The cut surface is largely gelatinous.
Micro: Sections through the well circumscribed encapsulated lesion show hypocellular myxoid/mucoid stroma with scanty vessels and aggregations of inflammatory cells, including histiocytes and neutrophils. There is no evidence of mitotic activity or lipoblasts.

Good explanation and slides
compatible with myxoma
it is quite a nice case
myxoma
I agree that is a myxoma
Myxoma, I think.
BENIGN MYXOMA
I agree.
I agree
On needle biopsy, exact classification is not terribly important, as essentially all myxoid tumors should be fully excised to rule out the possibility of higher grade in unsampled areas of the tumor.
Myxoid tumor with low cellularity and without prominent vessels. Some nuclei are a bit large but not significantly atypical. I feel this is within the spectrum of myxoma. Distinguishing between myxoma and low grade myxoid sarcomas (or myxoid tumor with locally recurring potential) can be quite difficult, I think.
