Also known as MART-1, for Melanocytic Antigen Recognized by cytotoxic T lymphocytes from melanoma patients, it is a sensitive and specific cytoplasmic protein for melanoma. It is used to diagnose metastatic disease and evaluate sentinel lymph nodes for melanoma.

Hi I have a case, lymphnode, which is CD45+, S100+,HMB45-. and the clinical specter goes for lymphoma. Can S100 be strongly positive in lymphoma
