History of cholecystectomy.

35-year-old female with repeat C-section. History of cholecystectomy.

Procedure: repeat C-section with removal uterine excrescence.

Gross: The specimen consists of a tan yellow tissue fragment measuring 1.3 x 0.8 x 0.2 cm. Also received are multiple hard green calculi ranging from less than 0.1 to 0.6 cm. in greatest dimension and aggregating 1 x 0.8 x 0.2 cm. All submitted in 2 cassettes.

Micro: Sections show foreign body granulomatous nodules containing bile/cholesterol material consistent with bile/cholesterol calculi. H & E stain.

Procedure: exploratory laparotomy and removal of bullet.
