cervical polyp
65 year old lady came to m with severe shortness of breath,sweating and severe lower abdominal pain along with urinary retention for last 4 weeks.Per spaculum examination showed large amount of whitish discharge foul smelling n a polyp was protruding out of external os of cervix it was 2 into 2 cm in size grossly .....specimen is sent for histopathology ......

Condition:
she was an obese lady complaining of sweating urinary retentiom and dyspnoea,her bp was 180/140mmHg n bsr was 200mg/dl ................................she was managed for HTN, DM 2 and CHRONIC UTI after that her cervical polypectomy was done successfully.patient was perfectly well with in 24hrs n was dicharged.
History:
she was P10+4 .non-smoker and had no history of alcohol or recreational drug intake history.she never underwent any surgery before.
Note:
she underwent cervical polypectomy successfully followed by cervical currettage ................

I'd love to see the histology of this lesion.
Thanks for posting. Clinical and gross photos are very helpful, but for pathologists, the histology images are most important of all. If you can work with your pathologist to access those images for posting, that will nicely complete your posted cases. Thanks!
