Procedure: excisional biopsy.
Micro: see photos. 4X to 40X. H&E stain.
What is the name of this organism?

This correspond to an onchocercoma
Filarial nodules does not exist only in subcutaneous lymph nodes in the leg since the parasites emigrate via the lymphatics blocking the lymphatic and causing lymphedema
If this is a case of leishmaniasis. The skin shows oriminent hiperplasia with queratotic plugs and hiperqueratosis and probably corresponds to the verrucous type of leihmaniasis
