Gross: Received are three cores of pink fatty tissue measuring 1.3 to 1.5 cm.

Micro: Sections show benign breast parenchyma with dilated large ducts, fibrous thickening of the wall, and patchy promine
Right soft to firm breast mass measured clinically 6 cm in greatest dimension. Fine needle aspiration is done from the mass for smear cytology.

Procedure: U/S guided needle core biopsy.
Micro: Smears of core biopsy tissue with Pap stain.
Sections show distended terminal ducts and acini with proliferation of medium/large dyscohesive cells exhibiting eosinophilic, granular and occasionally vacuolated cytoplasm.

Gross: The specimen consists of a resected pink-tan, irregular breast tissue measuring 10 x 8 x 3 cm.
