60-year-old male with abdominal pain. An outside CT scan revealed diffuse metastatic disease in liver.

Procedure: CT-guided random liver needle core biopsy.

90 year old female with left cheek mass.

Procedure: Excisional biopsy:

Gross: The specimen consists of a resected skin ellipse, measuring 2 x 1.8 cm. in size with a thickness of 1.2 cm.

78-year-old male with a large chest mass.

Procedure: CT-guided mediastinal needle core biopsy.

Gross: The specimen consists of 5 tan cylindrical needle core biopsy tissue fragments measuring 1.

75-year-old female with right kidney with hydronephrosis and ureteral stricture, rule out cancer.

Procedure: Right kidney and ureter, radical nephrectomy.

67-year-old female with multiple metastatic lesions in lung and liver.

This is a papillary clear cell carcinoma with a high degree of vascularity. The CD-10, vimentin, cytokeratin (AE 1/3), and EMA all stain positively.
