Bone marrow - neoplasm

60-year-old female with recent history of hospitalized because of a mass in her left fifth rib. She underwent wide excision of the rib lesion. She has no fevers or chills.

Middle-aged woman with pancytopenia.

Procedure: Bone marrow aspirate.

Micro: see photos. 40x to 100x oil.

Wright giemsa stain for bone marrow aspirate smears; H & E stain for clot section.
